Vocational Success When you start your road to Vocational Success, you initiate several new processes. You are increasing both your professional and personal knowledge of the disciplines that are the most helpful in the workplace. This information will not only improve your job satisfaction, it can also improve your work environment. This process takes place because you learn how to view the activities of the enterprise in ways that can help you suggest improvements to the methods and procedures being used. The knowledge that you gain helps your ability to assist the enterprise to be more effective in its activities. The education which is attained from this process allows you to receive greater job satisfaction than you would otherwise have. At the same time it demonstrates to the management of the enterprise that your contributions to the enterprise are very helpful. This process makes you more valuable as an employee and may even help your chances of advancement. This increase in your professional knowledge also helps you with your self image and your self worth. The increase in your self esteem helps you on the personal development arena. The importance of these matters cannot be overstated. We all spend the majority of our time Monday through Friday at work or in coming from or going to work. If our self image is that we are contributing to the functions of the enterprise, then the job becomes an activity which we can enjoy.
