The best way to take violin lessons is to download a lesson series from the internet. This is because it is less expensive to do so than to attempt to take live lessons. With live lessons. you will pay for each lesson that you take. Under the download method you will pay once for a complete set of lessons. A properly designed set of lessons will provide you with lessons which teach you the various styles of music for the violin. These styles are classic, jazz, country, bluegrass and modern. Along with learning styles you will be introduced to the various scales which will allow you to develop each style. Imagine being able to play for your friends and relatives their favorite songs in the style that they enjoy the most. You will be able to hear the music as it is played by your video instructor as well as having the ability to see the placement of your fingers on the strings as well as the proper use of the bow.
