Acne and Our Self Esteem
For those who suffer from acne, there is another important personal issue that enters their life. That is the matter of self esteem. Acne often adversely affects our self esteem. The more severe the acne the larger the problem of self esteem becomes. We are ashamed of our appearance feel ugly to the beholder. The self esteem issue is also affected by the scarring, if it occurs. With scaring the perception of being ugly amplifies itself. It is important to learn about the ways to treat acne and to take advantage of these treatments. Scaring can often be reduced in appearance or eliminated with proper treatment.
